Our WHSQ team, operations and managerial staff work with our commercial facility key personnel to build tailored auditing systems and site operational plans which will satisfy internal and external stakeholders.

At a FMSA commercial customer facility in Sydney’s West we developed in-depth knowledge of the site to identify initiatives which could be implemented quickly to improve waste and energy practices.

FMSA improved waste management at our customers’ offices by removing all single-use bins – replacing them with a centralised bin depository for best practice in waste management.

Our solution meant the office maintained high ratings in waste management audits conducted by building management. We also contributed to positive staff health and wellness with staff walking to bin repositories.

FMSA staff further identified an option to introduce two-tiered lighting during our professional cleaning service. After due diligence and consultation, management introduced a two-tiered lighting system. When office workers were working the lights remained at full strength; when our cleaning staff operated after-hours the lights were on energy reserve.

Our recommendations improved the overall energy and sustainability rating performance for our customers.
